Halo 2 map pack question

Post by DaGamingMonkey »

I'm going to be throwing a Halo 2 lan party in a few weeks. Besides the 4 copies of Halo 2 I need to have I'm wondering about the Halo 2 map pack that was released.
How does it work. Do I need one for each system? Or can I load it up on each console with one copy? (Consoles are a mix of xbox and 360's)

Thanks in advance! :D

You download the maps from the disc onto the systems.

So you only need the one map pack disc.

I could be wrong but I think you may only need the maps installed on the console that hosting the match. If not, then as medoza said "you only need the one map pack disc". Either way, your set.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. that is correct that one disc will work to install onto all of the systems however you should keep in mind that the install takes about 20 mins each ( if i remember correctly). So you should plan ahead or have more than one disc on hand before its time to play. have fun!

If your using 360s the install time is drastically shorter.

Also 1 flag on Relic is awesome.
