Post by mas »

I just came from my local gamestop ands I had just found out the sega is releasing sega dreamcast collection in april of next year I believe. Well I'm glad I kept my collection and my dreamcast but does anyone knoew anything about this or what games are going to be on this collection. And I wondering what do you guys want on this collection? For me its going to have to be crazy taxi, daytona, power stone, or any capcom fighter for that matter, skies of arcadia, phantasy star online, Jesus the list goes on. I LOVE THE DREAMCAST!!!!! What are your thoughts? Thanks

personally I think it's a crappy move from SEGA

the Dreamcast has a lot of exclusive titles and I for one would like it to stay that way

sure you can get HD versions of games, yada, yada... bullshit if you ask me

this is just another cash-cow and a low-down-dirty-rotten at that

I wouldn't.

To me, that's collector's bullshit. If the games are more widely available and hence command a lower price, that's better.

Agreed. People who want them to look prettier on their TVs can have that and people who want the originals at a lower price can have that. Win win.

Mixed feelings on this. I love Dreamcast Exclusives which makes owning the console special. An out of print DC game to be discovered by a current Gen gamer is a good thing too. How many new gamers have never heard of Toy Commander, Alien Front or even the under appreciated Wild Metal? A way to keep some Retros alive.

It will be interesting which games will be released, probably common popular ones.

Yes alot of great DC games have been ported, so if this means losing even more exclusives, then DC trolls(which exist) will have even more of a reason to put down the DC.

But I for one think it's pretty damn awesome, as now I can play a bunch of games I missed all on one disk.

I'm still going to have to play my DC since I don't have a 360 or PS3. Plus I'm in the middle of Sonic Adventure 2 and Skies of Arcadia.
