Hardly ever see anything in peoples hard rubbish, its the greatest place to find it, but pretty rare. Go dumpster diving behind your local EB.

I traded two GBA games that I bought for a dollar each just because they were brand new and factory sealed for Shin Megami Tensei 2 for SFC CIB and five dollars.

yay. i grabbed both legend of zelda oracle games in boxes w/ manuals (and even the other inserts that came w/ em)... no case for the carts (they had those right?)... both pretty fricken minty. got those w/ a copy of incoming for dreamcast, i have no idea if it's a good game but its condition is also very complete and minty. The oracle games were sellin for 20 each and incoming for 3, but together with a fancy "buy 3 used games get 20% off" deal, the grand total was an acceptable 36 bucks. considering the condition of these games (mainly the LoZ games) and the going rates at amazon.com, i win. i found'em at the FYE game store i posted about some time ago, in their retro section. yay

Nice find. I found both Oracle games and Link's Awakening DX, all complete, at a garage sale for $20 total over the summer, though they're not very minty. :P What do you mean by game cases? There was a cardboard packaging inside the boxes that held the cart in place, but the plastic game holders weren't included.

there's an FYE Games in my mall, separate from the FYE music/movie store... as far as i know the game store is a prototype and the retro section is sorta new for 'em (within this year). it's pretty sweet. i'm in CT btw
