Does anybody know of some good resources for high-quality screenshots?
I'm looking for Dreamcast and Saturn primarily right now, but eventually will want just about any other platform.
If anybody has a good collection on their own machine, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could send me a zip file or something with them.
Good Sources for High-Quality Screenshots?
Saturn. Boris has a wonderfully massive collection of photos from and information about SSF on his site.
Not sure about Dreamcast-specific stuff. Any games in particular you're looking for shots of?
edit - and I have about 12+ gigs of screenshots on my machine of whatever I've been playing (30,000 screenshots across ~250+ games).

It's for the game database I'm working on.

Your best bet is just going to the sega support site or that other big Dreamcast website that I can't remember the name of right now.

I only own about 20 Dreamcast games but if you have specific needs/wants I'd be happy to get some screen shots of what I can. I'm not very deep into many of the games but I could certainly get title pages, menu pages and at least 1st level screens of what I have. I'll send you a list of the games I have and you can let me know what you'd like.

Not sure about DC and Saturn screens, but http://www.vgmuseum.com and http://www.mobygames.com are some good places to look.
It's pretty much impossible to get a "good" photo from a TV screen. You're going to have to invest a few bucks in a capture card. You can go with a pretty nice S-Video capture card for ~$30ish that'll get you some pretty decent quality stuff or you can shell out some decent bucks on something like the Black Magic Intensity, which costs between $250 and $350 (depending on which features you need/want), but will allow you to cap at up to 1920x1080 over HDMI/Component. Doesn't support HDCP, but for gaming that doesn't really matter.Scooter wrote:Getting good photos off a TV screen is always a challenge so I'll have to play around a bit to see what works best.
DScaler + a decent (yet inexpensive!) svideo card (like the Leadtek TV2000XP Deluxe) results in some pretty nice stuff. Especially for the price range.
Well, that just ain't gonna happen.roushimsx wrote:

This is my first try at getting some screen shots.
