I'm down if I don't have to work. Where would we meet up and what would we do? I am not into comics or anime, so I would be totally lost at wondercon!

anyway, very impressive and everything looks like it's from a 'gamers' setup and ready to play, as opposed to some collections where they almost look like a library or even a museum.
Not to derail your thread, but I was just checking out this youtube vid, and god bless that guy, but wow, just wow! And that's only Part 1 of 10.![]()
as amazing as that is, i feel bad because most of those games have never/will never be played, You are missing out on the best part of collecting all of the best games out there, playing them!
To the op, nice set up, glad to see its all ready to go when you feel like it.

True that, it does look bad. They should've made a Super CD-ROM2 unit to match the first Core Grafx and the Super Grafx.hashiriya1 wrote:The SuperGrafx looks hideous with the CD ROM add-on! Anyway, it wouldn't fit in its space. I do plan to get a PCE with the interface unit, I think that looks rad.Breetai wrote:You don't have any PC Engine CD hooked up? Break one out of those boxes, pronto! That Super Grafx needs to mate!
It's cool how you still have your original Famicoms from when you were young.
The original PCE w/interface unit does look rad, but is it really worth it, seeing how damn fragile the thing is? Put a Core Grafx II/Super CD-ROM2 combo next to it, I say. It looks almost as cool as the interface unit setup. I'm more of a fan of having one of the three core units w/CD-ROM than a Duo.

I did have an interface unit before and I never had any problems with it. I sold it because it was so yellow'd. Next time I am in Japan I will probably try to locate one....which isn't difficult up in the inaka. 東北魂!!!
Re: This is Where I Play Games
Pretty cool collection, how often do you import games? I do dig Hori products - got their screen protectors for my PSP and DS, even got a playing grip for my PSP! I don't know if its worth it to import their PS3 LCD screen add-on for the PS3 slim.

No shit. 栃木県 is about as far north as I (used to, and will again) venture semi-regularly. 埼玉県hashiriya1 wrote:東北魂!!!
isn't too bad, actually. Not as good where you go, I'm sure!

Tochigi and Saitama (especially Saitama) are the toilet bowls of Japan!
Go further up, it's beautiful up there. If I were to move back to Japan, no hesitation, I would choose Sendai. But then again, I would probably end up in Kanazawa or Komatsu (Ishikawa-ken). The woman said if we move to Japan, we would have to move to her hometown of Osaka, but screw that, I hate Kansai! Where in Tokyo did you live? I lived just a 10 minute walk from Gotanda Station. Parking was too expensive down there (35,000 yen/month!) and I love cars too much to not be without one.
