Yeah this was the only real problem I had with SotC. Some of the time it was very vague as to what you were suppose to be doing to kill the collossus. Especially the horse collossus. I've beaten the game like 3 or 4 times and I still don't know how to get on top of that one without tremendous luck.
I felt the horse was one of the cleverest boss fights in the game actually. It was the big turtley thing in the gave near the geysers that annoyed me.

That and the final colossus, who i felt was a big let down
Yeah the turtle like one with the geysers was annoying as well. I thought the final collossus was a bit simple to fight, but it still felt big and scary and reminded me of the devil as he was portrayed in Dante's Inferno what with him being trapped waste deep in the ice and the collossus being sort of trapped into a mountain/tower from the waste down.

I'm a little confused as to how you got onto the horse without knowing what you were doing :S. I assumed there was only one way up, which seemed pretty obvious once you solved the puzzle :S

It offers 60hz for sure. NTSC mode i don't know, how would you tell?
THANKYOU! 60hz is NTSC.
This confirms as in PAL ICO which also has 60hz NTSC.

Is there a making of video and ICO Game Trailer in PAL Shadow Colossus?
Is it on the PAL game disc? Additional Footage?

Does anyone know if SOTC Japanese Best version has an ICO Game Trailer?

Yes there is, for sure. I seem to remember that both onlyplay in60hz, but my ps2 is broken, so i cant guarantee that. It's on the disc itself.

Theres a possibility it could be PAL60- would that still work? probably means 576 lines instead of 480.

THANKYOU again! Looks like I'm going to have to find a way to get the PAL version now!

I knew it had something to do with the tunnels but that was all I could figure out. Every time I fought him I just ran in and out of the tunnels in completely random fashion (Also occasionally shooting arrows at him) until he got into a position where I could climb on him.

Ah, well, thats pretty close an approximation -

SPOILER

You lead the horse so it's standing between the 4 tunnels, then run in front of a tunnel it's facing towards and go down it. The horse will come and look under the tunnel. While he does that, you run out of an adjacent tunnel, up the hill, and jump onto the horses head tassel thingmys.

/SPOILER

About a year and a half ago I was dating a girl who had a PS2 and I bought her SOTC so she could enjoy the experience (but also, I really wanted to play it too) so we played it together until about the 9th Collosus and I broke up with her so I never got to finish :(

However, It was an amazing game and I wish I could finish it, but my PS3 isn't bc D:

Eventually there will be a PS3 HD ICO-Shadow Colossus Remake.
