Remember 2 wks ago when I found something awesome on eBay?

Post by noiseredux »

this just arrived after a 2-week transit from Spain. It came inside the mintiest box I could imagine, still wrapped in plastic. The manual is still sealed, as are the batteries. The styrofoam looks untouched. I am happy.

What is it? :D

To me it looks like a container for one of those old handled, talking about the gameboy, but similar to those tiger electronics.

That's really cool! So are the controls mechanically coupled to the gameboy's controls, or does it attach to a port on the GB, or what? Is it lit?

It's Konami Hyperboy for the Gameboy. See this article for more details:

http://www.gameboycarts.com/2010/08/kon ... -game-boy/
KONAMI “HYPERBOY” , turns your regular Game Boy (DMG model) into an arcade machine.
This amazing hardware It has built-in stereo-speakers and a built-in light. The transmission of the Joystick works mechanically with the D-pad of the GameBoy. The screen is also magnified by a built-in lens. As you can see from the picture, it is designed for the classic Game Boy or Play it Loud model. Play your favorite games like a table top from the 1980s, if you are a chiptune producer, just try to use your LSDJ or nanoloop in LIVE mode with this beauty
