Some Japanese Language Question

Keep in mind that it is only for casual use. Do not use it in a formal setting. If your Japanese shachou gives you a raise, don't say "Arigatou ne!" Of course, foreigners have a bit more leniency.

I might add as a general tip that for those studying Japanese, it's good to get out of the habit of thinking, "A means B." If you hear a word in a new context, just make a note of it and try to figure out the link between that context and other contexts in which you've heard the word.

Japanese and English don't really line up very well, is the thing.

I do think the "Thank you with an emphasis" makes allot more scenes since she has been showing some interest of me since I first met her over a year ago. The main reason why she said "Arigato ne" is because I came up to one of her shows (she's in a band) just to surprise everyone in the band, all I can say is mission accomplished, plus she was all like "*gasp* Evan-Kun!" dropped everything she has in hand and start running towards me and gave me a big hug.
