Luftikus Game Collection

Post by Luftikus »

My collection so far:

Dreamcast PAL Full Set + Saturn Jap

I live in Germany, so I mainly concentrate on PAL games. I have some more stuff, mostly Sega stuff and PC Adventures, but at the moment I'm not able to take pictures, because I'm in India. I will update it later.

Thanks.

Yes, it took some time. Especially the Saturn Collection. Belive it or not, but some Saturn PAL games are rare as hell. The Dreamcast collection was relatively easy. Some titles are expensive, but 99% of the games are easily available.

The Sharp Twin Famicom is my favourite console in terms of design. I don't use ist any more, because I play most of the Famicom/NES games on my Wii now, but I would never give it a way. It's a real beauty.

That is very impressive - but it is driving me nuts that the Saturn games seem to be randomly arranged (instead of alphabetical, chronologial, genre based, etc.)

How do you find anything?!

I don't think I have any rare Saturn games myself. Well that's if you don't count PDS and Deep Fear(PAL version). But I keep on hearing that those aren't rare games at all, just very uncommon. :? :lol:

Tell me about it! Yeah it is a beautiful looking system.
I believe the Twin came in four variations? The one I own is the red model with black highlights .

Yes, that's true :lol:

The reason behind this is the different styles of the Saturn boxes. In PAL regions you can find 2 types of boxes; one is made of plastic and the other is made of paperboard. And if you mix them it doesen't look very nice. Furthermore I really love it to browse through all the games every time I look for a certain game. It always reminds me of all the games I still have to play.

@Thierry Henry:

I also own the black Twinfami with red highlights. Apart from that I only know two other variations: Black with green highlights and red with black highlights. Nevertheless: Ours is the most beautiful one :wink:
