SSF 009 alpha R2 compatability list (a-johnny bazookatone)

Post by scott21 »

Here's my WIP compatability list to compliment the widescreen list in the other thread. Unfortunately I couldn't find a good way to post it here, so i'll just make a link to the list for you to see.

Things have definitely improved since my last go around, as many more games seem to be working. If anyone wants to go back and double check to find a way to make some of the non-working games work, that would be great :) For some reason saturn emulation just doesn't feel as smooth as snes or n64 emulation, but it's definitely making headway.

BTW, my test bed is:

Abit IP35 Pro motherboard
Intel e6750 proc
4 gigs of ocz ddr2-800 ram
nvidia 8800 gts 640m
vista x64 ultimate sp1 rc1

I'll keep the list updated as I make headway with it. HTML is turned off and there's no way to attach files here, so I just uploaded a HTML version on rapidshare -> http://rapidshare.com/files/82581019/saturn.htm.html

What I really want to know is will it run Radiant Silvergun well? :)

I've still not been able to play this in either arcade or Saturn emulation, the sound never seems to work the (beautiful) music plays, but the in game audio isnt there :(

just a note:

The problem you are experiencing with the Radiant Silvergun ROM is something that all people are having. It has nothing to do with the speed of the computer it has to do with the emulation code. One day it will run perfect.. as long as there is still shmupers out there playing ROMS.
