Thanks to the power of the internet and Craigslist I have successfully traded the
Korg Poly-800 I got a few weeks back with a Yamaha DX-7.

Albeit a VERY HEAVILY used and gigged with DX-7 that has lots of scratches
and a hole on the back of each end cap. But it's a DX-7 and nonetheless still my dream
synth. It's especially great when I only paid $140 on that Poly-800. I essentially got the thing for
a third of what they usually go for!

Later on in the day I managed to luck into a pair of amazing vintage Marantz LS-15A speakers at
goodwill for only $10! Went home and plugged them up for a quick test and they sound phenomenal.
These things look sick and have all aluminum tweeters and midranges! The woofer foam has dry
rotted from age, but that's a quick and dirt simple fix.

Overall today was a very good day.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS

so this lady I work with just brought me in a gigantic box. In it was a NES, controllers, light gun, Advantage, one of those mats to run on, and about 50 games. I'll go into more detail later when I can sort thru it all... but there was lots of A-titles in there... Zeldas, Mega Mans, Marios, Castlevanias, etc.

it's more of the same. She and her husband are re-doing their house one room at a time. So the first box of stuff was from one room, now this is from the next room!
