Don't worry, That control deck is one bought just for this purpose and bring it back inside when I'm done.
I just want to separate the cereal from the mouse mask.

I'd totally do this too if I had a good deck / patio of my own.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Maybe it's because I live in California, but why play games on the patio? Not that it's not awesome, I'd actually do it too if I had a patio like yours, but I just don't get it.

Nice. You even have a BBQ next to your N64 rig. You've thought of everything.

Haha, someone else bought a doormat at BB&B a few years ago I see.
As long as the outdoor brightness doesn't make it where you can't see and it isn't getting damp there's nothing wrong with that.

Wooohooo. Weber Smokey Joe rules. Nothing like smelling the smoke of encased meats bursting with juicy goodness and playing a couple rounds of Goldeneye with friends.

I do something similar. On summer evenings I stay on the roof terrace with a 15 inch TV, a Genesis and a beer, after the kids fall asleep. Bliss.
Mostly harmless
