My AMAZING pickups from a long time friend!
So I have a buddy that has been collecting for many years with his own "Pete Dorr" room. He asked me if i was interested in taking some stuff off his hands to make room for new releases. I said I would be interested and went over to have a look. I WILL NOT say the price I gave him, but all I can say is a great relationship with a long time friend always pays off in many ways, sometimes unexpected! Also, EVERYTHING in the first pic is SEALED and MINT!!! The second pic is stuff he just threw at me because it wasnt in the best condition. Did I mention, everything pictured is a duplicate ?!?! He has at least one copy of every game he gave me sealed.

Man, so much suffocating Castlevania.
Also, people forget that 8 and 16 bit games were damn expensive too. *looks at Strider* Nice score sir.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I was at my local vintage spot, and I picked up Madden 95, NHL 95, and WWF Wrestlemania the Arcade Game all for a buck apiece. A lady with a box was at the counter and I heard the slide of PS2 cases onto the counter and then the old familiar clatter of SNES cartridges. I stepped over and saw Super Metroid and Battletoads in Batlemaniacs. The ensuing exchange went like this:
Me: I will give you ten bucks cash for both of these cartridges.
Lady: Lets see what the store will give me (slides carts off the counter)
Me: The store won't give you ten for everything you've got.
Store clerk: You are looking at about ten in trade or five in cash for these PS2 games.
Lady: I will see you outside.
Me: Aight
The lady took five for the ps2 games and stepped out.
Store clerk: Smooth move man.
Me: Yep.
Thats right, mint Metroid and Battletoads carts for just ten bucks.
