funny you posted this as i was just thinking about it. just have to find a expansion pak for a reasonable price!

eSPy wrote:very interesting suggestion! unfortunately no component input for my projector. it does have VGA which could help a bit.

Ive got a EasyCap video capture device for my laptop. could see what happens when i run the N64 -> Easycap -> laptop -> vga output ->projector

haha......or am i just starting to get a bit silly? will try a few different methods and post my results. just bought a copy of snowboard kids so now ive got good reason to get this goin.
My friend said he was able to play his GC through an easycap pretty well, and I saw the quality, I say it's worth a shot.

little info update for my projector issues. got a ps2 (modbo 4.0) the other day and tried playing yakuza 2 (PAL) on it. at the very beginning of the game it asks if you want to display in 50 or 60hz. when i select 50hz, i just get a black screen (with sound). when i select 60hz, i get a picture, but everything is in black and white! have tried a few other PAL games (GTA San andreas and Siren 2) and they both work fine. haha...should have just bought a SD TV...
