I have to say most of my favourites are in the first list (big S.T.A.L.K.E.R fan here) but then you put Fallout 3 in the second list and messed it all up.
Also, the CoD: Modern Warfare games are an amazing experience but too short.
I don't quite understand the success of Gears of War though. Is it the chainsaw? It must be the chainsaw...
It's gotta be either that, or the foul language density. I'm no prude, but the dialog in GoW is just.... repetitive and annoying.
