I went to a yard sale to get some PS2 and Gamecube stuff when it was fairly new, but I went to the wrong place. I asked the lady there where it was, and she said either behind the post office in the town I was in, or off the road to the next town over. So, I checked out the place in town, and there was 2 computer paper boxes that were marked $5 a piece. One was long-box PS1 games, and the other was Saturn. I got Albert Odyssey, Iron Storm, Dragon Force, Shining the Holy Ark, Norse by Norsewest, Shing Force 3 and Panzer Dragoon Saga, all mint, all complete for $5 a piece. I also got the Long Box Resident Evil. I mean, these literally looked like they were opened, played once, then set on a shelf. It was epic. All because i went to the wrong place

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Picked up a blue Official Nintendo N64 controller today at a little thrift shop, price tag said 2 so I assumed 2 bucks and thought "not too bad" as it looks really good and feels tight, got to the checkout counter and it rang up .29 cents, was .32 cents with tax!! Then I found a green translucent Official Sega Dreamcast controller at another store for $1.97 so I snatched it, hello ebay! Finally one more stop and I picked up complete in box for Genesis Madden9 95, Troy Aikman Football and Tecmo Super Bowl, I paid $1.97 each for these but I thought that wasn't too bad as they are complete with manuals and boxes in good condition. I think I can make a little on them as I don't really want to keep them.

I got an atari Jaguar off craigslist for $35 today. Came system with power cable and controller. I tested it when I got home and it worked great.
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I would just say the Jaguar worked. I don't think "great" or any other related words should be associated with the Jaguar.

Yea, lol. It is an interesting system though. And I am enjoying Wolfenstein 3D. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have bought it if it was listed at ebay prices...Para wrote:I would just say the Jaguar worked. I don't think "great" or any other related words should be associated with the Jaguar.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
A few good finds today, got a Model 2 Genesis, with cords, manual, three controllers and two games (one cart only, the other CIB, both EA Games, I'll update with names as they're not next to me) for five bucks. And one of the controllers came with a bag that it LOOKS like the system came in, or maybe one of the controllers, from a mint box. Wouldn't know seeing as I've never opened a sealed Genesis. But this my 5th Genesis, 4th Model 2. These things really ARE common. O_O
Also got an Indigo Game Boy Advance, with the battery cover. This is my 2nd one of these, for a dollar.
Found a WWE Plug and Play for 2 bucks, 3D Pinball Express on PC for a dollar, and finally, 3 copies of Sneak King and 2 copies of Big Bumpin' for xBox 360, all sealed for three bucks.
All of these finds were found at our neighborhood yard sale today. Had to have been over 20 families having yard sales. Pretty sweet finds and I'll post pics if anyone wants to see the finds for themselves.
