Question about 3DO region lock (game specific: YuYu Hakusho)

I am to understand the 3DO has no region lock out, but some Japanese games cannot be played on non-Japanese 3DOs due to some problem with showing kanji characters. Is the YuYu Hakusho game that Hudson Soft made one of these games? It's hard to find info on it, being that it's a pretty obscure and old title. Better yet, anyone have a list of all 3DO games that this rule applies to? It would probably help many others too.

It will play, if you are ever not sure before you buy burn a copy to see if it works.

Can't say for sure, but I seriously doubt there'd be a problem. There are literally only a handful of games that have issues.

Like the other poster said, burn a copy of it and test it first.
