So I got back, it was a similar deal to JT. One thing he mentioned after I questioned the piece of tape they had covering up a piece of the HUD was that they're going to be calling people back for multiplayer sessions. It seemed like this was a custom build of Left 4 Dead 2. I assume they tuned the difficulty down (or at least the damage you take) and there was the aforementioned HUD piece he wasn't allowed to tell me what it was (it's for the multiplayer part).

Some really great pics! Didn't see a crowbar though, maybe security has it. :D

Mad Katz headquarters is in my vicinity. No affiliation, but I did manage to walk in and tour the front showroom. Saw the Raving Rabbids Wii plunger and dual charger stand before they hit the retail shelves. I should go back and take pics, the "Trophy Case" was interesting.
