But it also isn't the least sensible idea!
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

No, some other less sensible things I could probably do might be trying to convert my vehicle to all battery power and drive to Austin, hooking up a TV and game systems out on the patio and leaving them there 24/7, or sitting naked in the disposal side of the kitchen sink while a curious toddler eyes the switch next to the sink that has a peppermint glued to it.

Sounds like a game plan. Let's get started.

Oh umm...yeah. Just realized I have to go do a...thing. On that day. Yes.
Well now, hold on a sec. I'm not suggesting having an entire meet based on the 3DO, the Jaguar, or the like. However, I think it would be a fun diversion to have a less mainstream system in the mix.

Even if it's just for giggles, I think it would be fun for a bunch of retro gamers to sit down with an Atari 7800 (or something) and discuss the system as we play it / test it out.

I imagine that at least one of you hardcore collectors has an oddball system like this.

Agreed. We should totally do a BS system meet up. OK, list up your odd ducks. If someone can run to Houston, a quick glance over Hobie's residence would resolve this.

Odyssey 2, Jaguar, and 7800 I guess. *shrug*

Intelivision was mainstream. I don't have a Vectrex, 3DO, or a CDI myself.

I'll hit up a yard sale and nab some Tiger Handhelds + AA's.

A game.com meet? Or maybe a N-Gage meet?
