I successfully modded. I attached a red jumbo LED to the regulator as described by a previous poster. I can confirm that one leg is 5V, the middle in ground, and the other one is 11V on the SNES jr.

I used the cone tip of my soldering iron to melt through the plastic to make an old style SNES type hole.

This baby is now modded for s-video and an led.

I don't think Ziggy meant that as an insult but was pointing it out so you can do better next time or even clean that up some day. Showing a spot to grab power was helpful. :)

I wonder how many more hits that video has gotten now that Ziggy and I pimp it all the time. :lol:

Yeah, chill out. I meant it positively, not negatively. Like Hobie said, you may consider fixing up those connections some day. Just put a little flux on it, then touch it with the iron.
