Cool mod; I read about a member on Sega-16 attempting the same thing (maybe I should link this site to him). The Genesis itself looks pretty good besides being a bit chunky, but I would've made some custom Neptune logo to embolize on the front of the console. If he were to start selling these I would strongly consider purchasing one.

Thats sweet! I'd be tempted to that myself if I had a 32x. I want a 32x but I really don't fancy having the 32x sat on my megadrive sat on my mega cd. hehe

. Far too big and cluttered. I can just about get over the sega CD but don't have the space for a 32x on top!

The MVS home console mod on that site looks pretty sweet. I would've made a better case for it though! (or retrofitted it into a neo-geo aes or something)

THat mod is plain awesome! I think I'll give it a shot with a few spares I have lying around.

Anyone else notice that the original mod had only one power cord? Or at least to me it looks like it.

Yeah i noticed the singular power brick too. It made me slightly confused. Hmmm *scratches chin*.

I emailed the modder about him selling his Neptune. I also asked him about being able to add on a Sega CD since it was a model 2. He replied with:

There's the Tototek flash cart and there's some reviews at sega-16.com, even if he decided to sell it to you, I guess it would be more than a couple hundred dollars

I'm buying cables and a solder sucker today to try to build one

I wasn't asking him to sell them to me, just maybe he can start an eBay store or something.
