Koei Romance of Three Kingdom PS3

Post by AznKhmerBoi »

im really wishing for this franchise to open the door to the next gen. I actually started to play these games pretty recent. I would probably say since their arrival on the ps2 is when i started out to play and understand the game. I know it started way back since like the NES ,SNES, Genesis and so forth. I sure their have to be a decent amount of people who like this franchise to make them release so many, but yet u dont hear too much about them. :(

So anybody out here waiting for its release on the next gen and whawt would u like to see them change in terms of gameply and graphics.

For me i hope they amp up the graphics not in 3d but more fluid sprites and also the amt of sprites on screen when your in the battle screen.

Ive played this franchise since the beginning, and I have loved every bit of it. I wish they would put more options for building your own castles and developing lands for farming and whatnot. Its a country that built the great wall, why cant I build all the flood control I need for a province in one turn? More strategic options for the fighting among units would be nice to. I really loved #3's battles. I also liked the kinda related Rise of the Phoenix. Its a hard game, but if liked the battles there also for the time.

I played most of the series with the Traditional Chinese version on Windows, gotta say it never got close to "historic realism," as most veterans would admit they would like to have an all-star roster of generals and advisers. Getting very close to "gotta-catch-all," VII, VIII and X did offer role playing elements, but that didn't offer the depth I was looking for.

I know hardcore fans would choose to use Ma Teng in the early stages and use Shu-Han for later stages.
