Yes, it is most annoying that you can't search NetFlix on Wii. Also, I rate the entire overall experience of NetFlix on the Wii lower than on the PS3. Like I said, I mainly stream NetFlix from my PC (hooked up to my TV) but I have also used the PS3 and Wii. The Wii was my least favorite. I don't think the video quality was as good. Both the Wii and the PS3 had some infrequent buffering pauses, but they were brief. I never get those pauses when streaming from the PC.

Thanks for the smooth streaming feedbacks. :D

I suspected that video burp may be a problem. I have even seen it on my nephew's stream from his PC in the bedroom to the living room 360. One or both hard drives maybe accessing clearing a buffer or something.

Seems Ziggy's direct approach from PC to HD the solution in the future.
For now I have all the county library free movies in my EMail cue.

Don't forget the video quality, and whether you get buffer pauses, mostly depends on your connection speed. When you choose something to watch, you get the "determining your video quality / connection speed" message. If your connection isn't fast enough, you wont get the best video quality. If you're watching something and your connection speed drops a little you could lose the buffer and then get a pause.

I just got an email from NetFlix saying you don't need the disc for Wii anymore either.
Good news! You no longer need the instant streaming disc. Wii and TV

Watching instantly with your Wii™ console just got a lot easier.

To instantly watch unlimited TV episodes & movies via Wii without the disc, simply download the Netflix channel from the Wii Shop Channel on your Wii™ console. Then follow the on-screen instructions.

That's it! There's no need to send the disc back to Netflix.

Enjoy!

–Your friends at Netflix
Kinda weird that I got an email telling me this for the Wii but not the PS3.
