Re: GameCube camera???
It's not a GameCube camera, per se, but a camera with GameCube colors. It was released back in 2001, so I'm assuming this was just a way for Nintendo to cash in on the Cube craze.Amazon wrote: Product Description
A great 35mm still camera that matches the Gamecube color scheme! / Includes 35mm film & 2 batteries
Cool collectible, though.

Cube craze? So it's an artifact from an alternate timeline where Gamecube was popular. Very impressive indeed. I wish I lived there.YoshiEgg25 wrote: It was released back in 2001, so I'm assuming this was just a way for Nintendo to cash in on the Cube craze.

i, as well, never experienced this phenomenon. or at least not until the things dropped to like $30 a piece.flamepanther wrote:Cube craze? Re: GameCube camera???
People seem to forget that the Gamecube wasn't DOA. On release day and for the first couple of years the 'Cube was extremely popular - I remember Electronics Boutique employees pushing the 'cube version of games when a game was multiplatform because of the superior graphics and loading times.
The gamecubes unfortunate reputation wasn't gained quickly - years of diminished 3rd party support is what did it.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Re: GameCube camera???
this is correct. Inversely, everyone seems to remember the Dreamcast as "dominating" or something. I can't speak for anyone else, but during it's lifetime, I only had ONE friend who owned a DC. Everyone else I knew had Playstations.Flake wrote:
