Well, this bump was interesting for at least one reason. Looks like Racketboy got his wish for a VC Arcade section. Now the publishers need to support it. Have any games been announced or released since this was initially announced at GDC??

Re: Virtual Console Releasing Lackluster Versions of XBLA Games
Namco has pledged 30+ games for the console and a few new titles have been released on the Japanese VC(Numan Athletics, Starblade, and Cyber-Um...crap forgot the name). Sega & Taito also have titles in the works(probably the usual stuff like Space Harrier, Space Invaders, and etc). Unfortunately from them it looks like mere token support. I imagine Irem and Konami will jump on at some time or another though I can't see them really providing a good amount of content. The JPN VC release schedule is tight enough as it is and it seems to me that a lot of publishers aren't going to be interested in it if they have to share advertising space with Console VC/Wiiware/Dsiware/other VC Arcade games.RadarScope1 wrote:Well, this bump was interesting for at least one reason. The rest of the world? Good luck. At the rate Nintendo of Outside-Japan updates the VC we'll be lucky to see all of these games in the Wii's lifetime. It's a depressing situation all around and a bit of a shame considering all the promise Virtual Arcade holds(though if you're a fan of Namco arcade games and have a JP-region Wii it's definitely worth it).

Is there any easy way to play Japanese Wii library on a PAL Wii? The legal wayPepsimanVsJoe wrote: The rest of the world? Good luck. One thing that's pissing me off about the the Wii is the lack of storage.
Sure it has the SD cards but its slow to load and the games don't run from the SDcard itself they get loaded back into memory first. Which means if I have a game in the Wii memory that is big such as Sonic 4 episode 1 I have to move it to the SDcard to play other large games.
