A (useful) Racketboy app would almost always need an Internet connection.
If you just want the guides you could save them as a PDF and sync them to your phone, but that brings me to my first point b/c the guides or articles aren't always up to date.
Also there is a skin of phpBB that is optimized for the iPhone. An admin has to install it though.
