Hey. (Before someone links me other threads about painting: I've read them and couldn't find anything about this. It might just be a simple answer.)
How could I paint a console to have a matte finish? Is it just a different type of paint? Would I be painting the console (a Dreamcast) any differently? I was looking at this http://www.krylon.com/products/matte_finish/
While I'm not painting my Dreamcast like this, I would like the black portion to be like this:
That's clear coat. There are specific paint for plastic but I think too shiny for what you want. Maybe use automotive flat black spray paint. Pop the shells, clean with alcohol and spray a couple light coats.
How dare they paint dreamcast to resemble the xbox. Xbox took over dreamcast generation, that is why we don't have dreamcast 2. Xbox ruined dreamcast future life.
