First Person MMORPGs?

Post by darthmunky »

Are there any good first person MMORPGs? I'm basically looking for an online version of Oblivion.

Sorry to not respond, but the answer is no, or at least none that I know of. It's part of the reason the mod communities for Morrowind and Oblivion were so interested in making multiplayer versions, because there simply isn't anything like that for multiple people. Now in certain MMOs you can set the camera to be first person, but it actually puts you at a disadvantage because of how it limits your viewing area. There are also MMOFPS titles, but that's not what you're looking for.

This would be quite possibly the single scariest thing ever, mainly because of how easy it is to tear the character creation for both of those games in half.

you register your character at Census and Excise office and it'll upload stats, etc.

quite an interesting concept and about as Multiplayer as I'd ever want any Elder Scrolls to be

Well there are rumors of an Elder Scrolls MMORPG but I'm not actually a fan of the MMORPG style of gameplay. I don't like the leveling systems, quest systems, or even the combat. which is why I was looking for an Oblivion type RPG that's online but not in an mmo style, ya know? Anyway, thanks guys!
