I troll Craigslist and look through the Classifieds of my newspaper to see if there's anyone with games. I also like to go to sales where the entire street/subdivision is selling stuff, as you don't really have to go far to find anything.final fight cd wrote:you just told everybody about the secret of good deals: yardsales! nobody knew about them until you spilled the beans!YoshiEgg25 wrote:It's because you guys don't know where to look. Garage/Yard sales are incredible because 98% of the time they don't know what it's worth, and 85% of the time it's underpriced. Plus you can usually haggle.![]()
it all is just a matter of luck. i would say 98% of the time yard sales have shit. i stopped going to yard sales because i never find anything.

That's how I got my first Dreamcast this summer. Garage sale in a neighboring town, lady was selling the Dreamcast, VMU, and 10 games for $20. I got her down to $13 and she threw in the blue wicker basket they were in to carry it all.
Man, I had some hauls that day.
