went to my local toys r' us on friday night.

took advantage of its special sale.... an extra 30% off on clearance games.

(PSP) Blockus Portable- $3.50
(PS3) Moto GP 08- $2.80
(Wii) Boom Blox Bash Party- $2.80
(Wii) Skate It- $3.50
(Wii) Rygar Battle of Argus- $2.80
(360) Eat Lead The Return of Matt Hazard- $3.50

With taxes this ended up being $20.65!

My wife picked this up for me at a yard sale yesterday! The entire box for 20 dollars!!!

It's because you guys don't know where to look. Garage/Yard sales are incredible because 98% of the time they don't know what it's worth, and 85% of the time it's underpriced. Plus you can usually haggle.

That's how I got my first Dreamcast this summer. Garage sale in a neighboring town, lady was selling the Dreamcast, VMU, and 10 games for $20. I got her down to $13 and she threw in the blue wicker basket they were in to carry it all.

Man, I had some hauls that day.

you just told everybody about the secret of good deals: yardsales! nobody knew about them until you spilled the beans!

it all is just a matter of luck. i would say 98% of the time yard sales have shit. i stopped going to yard sales because i never find anything.
