here's the corner of our living room in which we use the spare single-size bed for a comfortable sitting area. we don't have a couch right now (we moved a couple months ago and haven't really seen the need for one yet). besides, who doesn't love sitting on the floor-type area for gaming? on all those shelves reside my entire video game collection. HERE IS A LIST OF THE GAMES, since i'm far too lazy to actually take pictures of each bit of the collection. the stuff up top on the shelf there are some nifty custom-printed DVD cases with english text labels to house my PC Engine games.
this is across from the bed (kinda tricky to get it all in one shot there). all the consoles are hooked up with A/V switches (this is kind of hellish, i'll fully admit). behind the entertainment center on the door to the bathroom is a shoe organizer filled with controllers. need to find a better place for that.
and here it is at night, with the main lights off and the colored lights / motion-sensor LEDs turned on. got a bit of nice atmosphere, i think.
i'll probably update this post eventually once i rearrange the room again (this happens fairly often) or come into possession of something incredible (this happens less often). in the mean time though, i hope to have some fun here on racketboy, i've heard plenty of good of the place! :]
