I recall that there were three or four walkthrough guides from Nintendo Power about the early titles. I still have mine; it had five games on it, and I think the others did too. I'll look into it.
EDIT: As I was Googling it, I ended up stopping. Because I found the GB Player Land blog explaining the whole bit.

haha. Right. So as you may imagine -- I've been researching this for a while, looking for a definite answer.YoshiEgg25 wrote:I recall that there were three or four walkthrough guides from Nintendo Power about the early titles. Re: Does anyone have proof of the launch day GBA titles?
I bought one at launch, and I worked at a retail outlet then that sold them. Now, that was almost ten years ago, so maybe I am remembering incorrectly, so I am allowing for that possibility...
What I remember about the GBA Launch was the units were available in Purple, Clear Purple, and White. Seems to me Super Mario Brothers 2 and F-Zero were the only games available right off the bat, with the others coming out in the days/weeks immediately following.
I do remember I bought those two games and Dragon Warrior III for the GBC with mine. (Since GBA was backwards compatible, and DWIII said "Works on GBA" right on the box) Came out right around that same time, and I was always a fan of Dragon Warrior / Dragon Quest games.
