If you enjoyed the last 2 games, you'll find plenty to like with this one. But if you haven't...

It's open-world, much like Fable and GTA, (I've nicknamed it Grand Theft Edo,) but I've got to admit, it's nowhere near as expansive as those big-league titles. The game can be played as long or as short as you want it to be - depending on your decisions. (A single play-through can be finished in under 2 or 3 hours without dying. But you'll be missing out on much of the potential storyline.) Although, unlike Red Dead Redemption, just going around and killing or even just exploring will leave you wanting much more. But given the severe lack of open-world titles set in a feudal Japanese setting, this game will give you a nice taste, but ultimately leave you wanting.
Overall, it's absolutely worth a look or a rent! But if you're looking to own, don't pay more than $14.99.

You can find the game pretty cheap these days on ebay...I just snagged a sealed 360 version for $10 shipped. $15-17 new on Amazon. It's well worth those prices.

Same deal, if you like the others you'll like this one...I still recommend giving it a shot if you haven't played the others. It's got a unique feel and decent sword combat.
