Does anyone have proof of the launch day GBA titles?
Wiki lists 22 games I believe. Other lists I've seen vary and range from 17-25 launch titles. Does anyone have solid proof for me of the ONLY GBA games that were available in the US on launch day?

I have the Nintendo Power from when the GBA was released, but it's at home and I'm not going back there anytime soon. However, I did notice a retro magazine site on the 1up Top 101 Sites under Racketboy, so I may be able to find it. I'll let you know.
EDIT: Never mind, I'll have to wait until I go home in late December.

I didn't think there were that many, at least not in the US. Here's the list from Gamespot's 2001 article for the GBA launch.

Re: Does anyone have proof of the launch day GBA titles?
I'm not sure. That's the problem. I have a lot of magazines from around the time of launch. But that doesn't mean that the titles they're talking up didn't just come out that MONTH or something. I wish someone that worked at a game store actually had like I don't know, a packing slip showing all the games received that day or something. I feel like fastbilly told me that the wiki list had a few titles on it that he thinks were NOT available on day 1. So yeah. I don't know.flamepanther wrote:What exactly would constitute solid proof?

FYI, the Gamespot sitemap is awesome: http://sitemap.gamespot.com/news/2001/5.html (and change the "5" for various months - June=6, etc.)
Those might get you closer to an answer, but not sure...

Emailing Nintendo would be worth a shot, there's nothing to lose at least.
