I'm such a fan of 1up; I think it comes from my love of EGM. I thought it was a huge deal to see this on the site.

Nick, I think you should be really proud, and also realize that you've made something that's the best. Some will argue that its the members that give the site its voice, but you made it and I think thats what this site (and all its dialog about retro gaming) is because of. Awesome job. I hope you stay motivated to always try and improve the site and how we connect and talk about games.

No advertising, no sponsors, no partner-ships with any big gaming sites. Just a guy, a small store, some articles, and a lot of nostalgic people.

That's something unique. Congrats Racket.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
