Tales of Symphonia.
I've played through that game so many times (20+)
I'll just load up a save and beat the snot out of the boss i saved before. I've got like 2 memory cards just for ToS, and i have a save right before every boss in the game on mania 8)
Good times :P

Silent-Fragging-Scope.

Nothing like popping a round into a terrorist's head from 100m away.

I don't think I've ever looked to games to relieve my anger...personally I think some sort of physical exertion like sprinting, hitting a punching bag or screaming into a pillow would be more effective.

However, I can imagine that light gun games would do the trick really well. They're so simple and so visceral. The good ones don't waste any time getting to the action. Chances are if you're angry you don't necessarily want to play a game with overly complex controls or gameplay (unless you're some master with all the controls burned into your muscle memory and brain matter).

On the other hand maybe something easy and relaxing like a puzzle game would do the trick.

Still my first choice would be light gun games like House of the Dead or Time Crisis. A second choice might be Track & Field with the Powerpad doing the 110m hurdles against Cheetah.

This. There's nothing like laying the smackdown on Sword Dancer every now and then. :D
