Problem with DS lite touch screen

Hi guys I was wondering if any on on ehre would be able to help. I repalced my sons ds lite case as he droped it and it broke. Everything worked fine for a few months then all of a sudden the touch screen would no longer display a picture. It works fine and the back light comes on there is just no picture. The replacement shell I bought came with a replacement screen which I did not use first time around as his screen was not broken. I put the new screen in and its still the same problem, back light comes on you can touch it and it works but no picture, Any help would be much appriciated,

Sounds like the screen was disconnected from the motherboard.

I'm not exactly sure how to fix that, some of our more technically advanced users may be able to help you though.
