I must say I love emulation of low res games with no filtering, I absolutely adore running Minish Cap in VBAdvance on my 19" monitor with no filtering, beautiful sharp pixelsramzeva wrote:After going component its tough going back to anything in the past, I play Dreamcast through VGA, and the ancient stuff such as SNES, NES or Genesis through my Xbox (emulator) that runs at 720p, crisp giant blocks for the win.

Considering how old and crappy my tvs are, it's pretty much all composite for me. On all my systems
No hi def tvs, S-video, VGA or anything fancy in my house, but the picture quality I get is enough to enjoy my games
Hopefully, next Xmas I can look into getting a hi def tv though and try some better cable connections for some of my systems. The thought of Dreamcast with VGA on a high def tv makes me drool

I just hooked one of my DCs to my 46" Samsung LCD with VGA and it's pretty sweet.Gamerforlife wrote:Considering how old and crappy my tvs are, it's pretty much all composite for me. On all my systems
