Like other people said, don't worry about the size of your collection. I don't know what Croatia is like but I would never talk like that about my country. :P

In some aspects I kind of miss having a small collection like when I was a kid. Only having about 15 games forced my brothers and I to fully experience (and then some) all our games. Also with a smaller collection it is a lot easier to master them, no matter how frustrating or repetitive they are. Spending some quality time with a few games you love is kind of a humbling experience. I have about 600 games in my basement and I don't have nearly the time to dedicate to them like I used to. Back in the day I would play the same game for hours, but now if I get bored or frustrated, I find myself switching games every fifteen minutes or so.

A good example and fond memory that comes to mind is spending the summer at my dads cabin about six years ago. We had a small TV with an NES and only a couple games there. When it was getting too late for the beach or if there was crappy weather, my brothers, friends and I would gather around a tiny TV in the shack playing Gauntlet, Metroid and Super Mario 2. We had a very old computer with Roller Coaster Tycoon on it, and we would take turns building a massive theme park together. And lastly we also brought a PlayStation with us and the only games for it were Resident Evil 3 and Pong. Resident Evil 3 is always a good time, but playing it in a tiny shack during a storm out in the middle of the woods is actually very fun and creepy at the same time.

I got off on a little memory lane tangent there but I just thought I would share that experience with people because that summer was one of the best times of my life and retro games played a role in it. Of course spending time with my family and best friends at the beach sure didn't hurt either but I hope you can all relate to that story in some way.

I played it, it's nice but i heard better. I found the game to be quite difficult... maybe it's just me or I haven't figured out some controls

I guess you have NTSC version... I remember having some gaming magazine as a kid (it was like 1995 so no internet) and there was a picture of NTSC SNES but there was no explanation what the hell that picture was representing! I was just a story about some SNES games... that puzzled me for a very long time what that blocky thing with "Super Nintendo" label on and with purple switches was :) puzzling times

@ Para - Well, it's really hard to describe what is going on here, so I'll just rather not and keep this thread politics-free! anyway, you are totally right. When I was a kid, I had just few games because they were expensive, so I was very picky about them (except some gifted games, like Mickey Mouse, but they were awesome fun anyway). I was just awesome feeling and I was never bored with my games. Then, 2003 came in all of its "glory", DVD burners, faster internet and modded Gamecube  ... i had a pile of gamecube games and it just totally ruined the experience. 2 years ago, I throwed out all of that burned, pirated junk and started collecting some great Gamecube games that I know I would like to play even 30 years from now. And now I have that great feeling back. :)

Nice collection, I wouldn't worry about the size, you have some great stuff there!

P.S. Weird, but my Wind Waker is age rated at 3+, but yours is rated 7+. Wonder why that is lol (P.S. I'm from Europe too, so also PAL).

I really don't know... It's printed in Germany but in English... and Germany is really tough with those ratings so maybe it has something to do with that... it also has that little picture of "fighting fist" on the back. It's that "pegi" rating so maybe you have that other one, you can check it on gamefaqs.com cover images, there are also two versions. Politics... they can go to hell, they just complicate stuff...

Ah we have PEGI now, but back when Wind Waker was released, we had ESPA instead. I'm from the UK btw.

I know the age recommendations can differ from country to country though, I just find it interesting.

Reminds me of last night actually, I was taking to this Hungarian girl and one of my friends mentioned a film we'd seen years back (Mr and Mrs Smith) that was rated 15. She was surprised, because apparently it was rated a 12 in Hungary.
