Anger relieving games
Re: Anger relieving games
Wow yes, Katamari is oddly relaxing.
Just roll your problems away.

If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.
Re: Anger relieving games
You guys can really play RPGs and hard games to get rid of anger? Wish I can do that. When I'm mad, it usually tampers my skill, so playing cool in an rpg or playing a hard game only give me a bit more anger. I was thinking of buying Prototype for cheap off Amazon because that seems like a game I can easily cause mass destruction.
I'll also give everyones suggestions a try, even Tetris. Maybe not Ninja Gaiden...

Noby Noby Boy - it's not much of a game, but it is oddly relaxing.

Lately I will go into practice mode on NHL 11 and just play one on goalie.
On street Fighter 4 I will go into training and just work on combos.
I will also put a vote towards Prototype. That game is just pure carnage to the point you feel nothing can stop you.

Re: Anger relieving games
I don't use games to relieve anger and i would say that at best it just takes your mind of the problem for a while but the problem will still be there.
What i do is instead try to resolve what bothers me by taking a walk. And if you have found out who and why is making you angry take it up with them because if you don't then the anger will just keep resurfasing again and again.

Pretty much any Beat-Em'-Up will suffice. Specifically ones with good pick-up weapons. THat always makes for a good time.
