Good PS2 Titles?

Post by yosh »

I picked up a fat PS2 from my little sisters friend for 13 bucks! I need some games for it though. I already know that I'm going to try to pick up Metal Slug Anthology, what other games should I pick up? I like all genres, except for sports games.

If you want good multiplayer, look no further than Star Wars Battlefront. Or its sequel. I prefer the first, but the second is four player while the first only supports two.
Gaming accomplishments:
Nibbler (marathon): 251,169,160 / Nibbler (one life): 5,263,360 (WR)
Donkey Kong: 423,100 [L12-1] (150th place as of 2019-01-15)
Super Smash Bros. (N64): Ranked top 5 in Wisconsin from Q1 2016 to Q2 2017
Shrek SuperSlam: won largest tournament in game's history (Shrekfest 2018)

Because there are probably 400+ games that are good for the PS2. Instead of just looking at the top MetaCritic scores or even RacketBoy's platform defining series, or about a billion zillion other sources, you just shit out another "recommend me some obvious shit" thread on the RB message boards. If you even have a cursory experience with google or the internet then this thread is moot from post 1.
