Who wants a free copy of my indie 360 game?

Post by CantStrafeRight »

Just like with my first game I'm giving away download codes for my newest Xbox live indie game.
http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games ... 258550673/

But here's the catch. I'm currently raising money for Extra Life and will be doing a 24 hour gaming marathon on Saturday. All the money raised goes to the Children's Miricale Network.
I wont force people into donating but if you enjoy the game or want to donate anything (Even less than a dollar) heres my donation link
https://www.hospitalshelpingkids.org/Ex ... A0F51C3719

I'm probably going to give away up to 40 codes so I'll list them in groups of five and if they are all used up someone say and I'll update this post with new codes.

How was the dev environment and experience for XBLA:IG?
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

You use Microsoft visual studio 2008 which I would imagine is intimidating if you have never programed before, but by the end of this year Microsoft will be moving on to the XNA 4.0 framework and that uses visual studio 2010.

For a self taught hobbyist like me I think the whole thing is great but there are a lot of problems with the way XBLIG marketplace works and some of the devs aren't happy.

Added more codes
I'll just add five at a time now so that they dont take as long to go through.

This is really cool that you would do this and I can't wait to play as soon as I can!

Post Play Edit: Really fun game but dang that ball goes off in crazy directions!

No indie marketplace in Australia/NZ :( . It's a real shame, your game looks sweet.

Yeah its a shame but I believe its due to the fact that everything needs to be rated in Australia/NZ and its not possible to have every indie game rated by the proper ratings boards.
