Shouldn't be that as the Component out on the PS2 is generated from the internal RGB signal. So if it works fine on a PS1 then it should work on a PS2.Flake wrote:Might just be a TV problem then. A lot of HDTV's HATE 240p signals especially via component as the computer in the TV gets confused into thinking it's some weird H resolution it's never heard of. Might want to check with the company about any firmware upgrades that might be available too as lots of HDTV's have upgrades that fix issues like that.
