my dear... I decided to step foot back in another forum I haven't been in years.
And I still stand by what I've declared originally in this thread. The elitist mentality of the shit birds who get so emotional about their love for games is making me sad.
An opinion is an opinion. And I have my own, that is merely it. I'm not offended others don't agree with my opinions. That is their choice.
But once starting to point fingers at ME and saying "I'm the one getting all offended" just because I attempt to take a non-bias view of some topic and attempt to bring the topic back towards a more deliberate conversation then letting it tumble head long into what will soon be a flame war.
So screw it, thankfully most of these boards have ignore lists... and yey, I get to make the choice to just leave when I want to. I'm still feathered that someone doesn't accept this factor of the whole world. That if you are this offended, just leave.
Yeah, you might say, "But duct you appear to be offended as well at this moment". And I will agree, but I'm not offended that someone disagrees with me, I am only feathered because if I try to take the mask of this... I'm the one stared and called the fool. This is not only in internet land... but real world as well. Why is it these people can not separate opinion from fact? I can accept your opinions, but I can not accept your misguided contempt and back lash on my character.
Is this wrong of me? Or am I just being a hypocrite?
annoyed by forums unlike here...

the main thing that frustrated me is that because I had edited my post this character assumed I did because I didn't want to appear all upset and emotional.
When all I did was edit out a bunch of filler stuff that was to long and boring for anyone to pay attention to (you know how I type, very long and exhaserbated... but that's just me... type fast with out a care in the world). I took it out, and shortened up this really long 3 paragraphs into a quick 3 line paragraph.
This is what boils my butter. When you assume you know all the actions of a person you've never meet, and the only relation you've had is textual interaction. Of which communication is proven to be over 50% voice tone and body language then just choice of words.
i.e. I've read several cases of people who are offended by innocuous phrases like "no thanks" because it could be interpreted as "yeah right, like I'd ever want that" as opposed to the possibly intended, "no thank you, I am not in the mood right now"
