FC Twin - Tech help needed

Post by THT3000 »

Not sure if this is the best place to post this in but whatevah.

I bought an FC Twin. I live in Europe, it's an American system. I managed to, at least, get it working but the picture is in black and white. Then I remembered I had that same problem with American games when I modded my PS2, and I remembered I found out I could fix that with a wire (?) that had a button to switch between AC and RGB that I connected from my PS2 to my TV. Or at least I think that's how I did it, it's been years since. Is there anything like that (wire) I can find for the FC Twin, that allows me to switch between the American and European TV systems so the FC Twin becomes compatable with my TV?

Does your TV support NTSC input?

I don't know. I'm not even sure what NTSC input is. But like I said; I could play American games on my modded PS2 but they were in black & white, but I found a way to turn them to color using something I bought on the internet.

What was that something? Sounds like a NTSC to PAL converter.
Maybe you can run a video switch box and plug your FC-Twin into that.

PS2 and FC Twin to video switch box, then to convertor and finally to your TV.

Basically European PAL 50hz use a different scan rate compared to U.S. and Japan NTSC 60hz.
