nes zapper gun

Post by cowgod »

so i finally got my hands on an nes, yay! i was also able to snag a zapper gun and duck hunt. now, either i suck horribly at duck hunt or something is wrong with the gun... is the gun the only thing i need or is there a sensor of some kind that has to go on top of the tv (like with the power glove)? when i pull the trigger the screen flashes but i can't shoot a duck for the life of me.

Nope it sound to be work 100% perfectly. Its just damn tricky to master it. I'm no good myself but some of my friends can hit the ducks almost everytime.

Try moving closer to the TV and then when you get better move further away.

If you don't have a CRT, you're SOL (at least that's what I've heard).

how old is the tv? It's not running in any fancy 100hz mode like newer crt tv's like to do.

You might try cleaning off the lense on the end of the gun.
