Sega Saturn seen in film 'The Black Mask'

In Mallrats, a sega saturn is being played early on in the film. If I remember correctly, it was that piece of crap hockey game, nhl all stars, or something like that.

I thought it was a Genesis? Playing NHL 94 or similar?

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a EA hockey game. I think it was some random hockey game from Sega Sports, which would of been a piece of crap hockey game. I do remember seeing the scene shot in the movie and knowing I played that game once and it was terrible.

Yup it was NHL ALL Star Hockey by Sega Sports.. Sadly I had that game for the saturn..

Mallrats

Kevin Smith's 1995 movie Mallrats featured Jason Lee as Brodie Bruce playing NHL All-Star Hockey for the Sega Saturn (in the DVD commentary, Kevin Smith admitted to loving the NHL series but having to use Sega's game for sponsor reasons.) However, the sound effects used were from EA Sports' NHL series.

Yup it was NHL ALL Star Hockey by Sega Sports.. Sadly I had that game for the saturn..
