Sega Saturn seen in film 'The Black Mask'

Couldnt help notice in the film 'the black mask' the prisinor the black mask takes is allowed to play Darius Gaiden, Virtua fighter 2 and Street Fighter Alpha. It seems odd in the film but its not noticable enough to be advertising.

What do you think?

Also the film itself is cheesy, unrealistic but a great laugh with some mates and beer.

A Saturn can also be seen on top of the television set in many episodes of The Drew Carey Show.

This isn't a movie/tv show but didn't Ryo in Shenmue have a Saturn? If it is a Saturn it doesn't make sense because I think the in-game year is something like 1986.

This movie? When it was filmed would make sense for there being a saturn.

I remember seeing Forever Young with Mel Gibson when I was a kid and being jealous because the kid in that had a super nintendo.

Yep that one in 96 with Jet Li. Not his finest acting by a long shot but has an awesome fight scene at the end.

The soundtrack of that movie was comedy... Also you can see a Sega Saturn being played in the Neon Genesis Evangelion series.. I guess it helps that Sega was one of the anime's sponsors..

In Mallrats, a sega saturn is being played early on in the film. If I remember correctly, it was that piece of crap hockey game, nhl all stars, or something like that.

Main reason being because the American dub added rap music which F'ed up the movie. The Cantonese version of the film is way better and includes footage cut out from the american release. Not Jet L'is best film but pretty good fights, since it was choreographed by Yuen Wo Ping, one of asia's best fight choreographers.

And yes there was a Saturn being played by Karen Mok in the film.

Its called Black Mask, not The Black Mask.
