So the game has a futuristic feeling? I can just picture you saying when the game game out, "This game feels very 'five years from now'."Ivo wrote:The feel to me is rather late 80s, early to mid-90s, hence "very 90s" (but I think we also got some stuff later than the U.S.). This game in particular was released in 89 apparently.Breetai wrote:80sIvo wrote:I find it really funny the quips on the bottom of the cover:
"A strategic encounter" ; "The fight of your life". It seems very 90s to me (of course, it also has a Ninja in the cover, to compound the feeling of being from the 90s).

This and other works like it established the new feeling - as possibly one of the first piece with a "very 90s" feel, you could indeed say it was ahead of its time...lisalover1 wrote: So the game has a futuristic feeling? Why do we call the games Ninja Gaiden? Take a look at the original trilogy:
They all very clearly have a "the" in the title. But I never hear anyone refer to the games as Ninja The Gaiden. Why is that? That's obviously the title on the boxes...
I'm gonna start saying "Ninja The Gaiden," anyway. But I'm just curious?

Why does it have to be Niode? Is is because the British insert the "the" in ninja gaidennoiseredux wrote:Niode, can you lock this one already?
