2010 MLB Post Season

Post by dsheinem »

I've been a giant Phillies fan all of my life, so I feel like I am walking on cloud nine right now following an amazing night of baseball history.

The Phillies are the losingest team in baseball history, and so the recent success they've had the past few years has been especially sweet. Still, I'm nervous about their status as favorites in the playoffs this year. I sincerely hope they'll be able to bring another one home, but think the Yankees and the Rays both pose a formidable challenge. I'd also like to see the Rangers advance...they'd be my favorite if the Phils get knocked out.

Anyway, do you have a horse in the race? If not, are you rooting for someone?

Ugh. The life of a Cubs fan.

Given the state of the team, I wouldn't mind seeing the Tampa Bay Ray Ramano's winning it all. But after last night, I'd like to see the Phillie's win another pennant.

It really rained shit on the Padres in September.

Personally, I would like to see the Rangers or the Rays win. At the very least, I hope to see the Yankees get knocked out in the first round but I doubt it will happen against the Twins who are perennial doormats for them.

What a great way to start off the 2010 MLB Post Season, Roy Halladay throws a no hitter, only the second one in MLB Post Season history. I think the Phillies will take the momentum from game one and ride it all the way to the World Series. Also last night was a tough loss for the Twins, how can you let the Yankees back into the game like that. I was hoping they would get over the hump and beat the Yankees but so far it's not looking to good.

Has anyone ever found an online coupon for gaming systems?

Tell me about it. :(

My second favorite team is the White Sox, then third is the Rays. So I'll be wearing my old Devil Rays hat around for a while more.

I'm a Twins fan and even though we lost, we still have a chance. They scored off CC and if Crain doesn't meltdown they are in position to win.

Cubs fan here  . I'm rooting for the Rangers in this one. I love there offense with Hamiltion and Vlad. Cliff Lee looked like a stud last night. I would like a Rangers/Giants world series. It would be pretty cool if the Braves won seeing this is Bobby Cox last year as Braves Manager. I think the Yankees will win though. There offense is just dirty.

I'm happy for you. That was a great game to watch. I have been an A's fan all my life, so I wont even bother explaining my troubles...

So that's why you built up your post count so quickly!

I'm actually afraid to get excited about the Rangers. I feel like if I do things will go awry.
